1. Who we are

FILOS STRATEGY SINGLE MEMBER P.C. (Greek: FILOS STRATEGY ΜΟΝΟΠΡΟΣΩΠΗ Ι.Κ.Ε.) is a private company incorporated in Greece. G.E.MI. registry no. 174164903000, VAT ID EL802314428, registered seat at 11-13 Aristotelous St., 104 32 Athens, Greece ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for personal data processed through this website (alexfilos.com). You can reach us through the assistant on the homepage.

2. The AI assistant

The assistant on this site is an artificial intelligence, not a human, and it says so itself at the start of every conversation. By using the chat you accept this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. What happens with your conversation:

• The text you write is transmitted to Anthropic, PBC (our processor) to generate replies. It is not used to train their models.
• The conversation is stored in your own browser so you can pick it up later, and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser data.
• A copy of the conversation, together with a short summary, is sent to Alexandros so he can follow up personally, which is the point of the assistant. If you leave an email address, it is stored with that conversation so that later contact stays in one place.
• Please do not type card numbers, national ID numbers or other sensitive data into the chat. They are not needed.

3. Other data we process

• Invoicing. Consulting is invoiced, not paid by card on this site. To issue the invoice we collect your company name, VAT number, email and mobile number, and we keep the invoice for as long as Greek tax law requires. We never see or store card or bank credentials.
• Scheduling. If you book a call, Calendly processes the name, email and time slot you submit.
• Hosting & logs. The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes technical data (IP address, browser type, requested pages) in short-lived server logs for security and delivery.
• Preferences. Your language choice is stored in your browser. We use no advertising trackers and no analytics cookies.

4. Legal bases

We process personal data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Greek Law 4624/2019: to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and to perform a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)); to comply with legal obligations, including Greek tax legislation (Art. 6(1)(c)); and for our legitimate interests in operating and securing this website and responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).

5. Who receives data

Only the processors named above: Anthropic (AI replies), Resend (delivering the conversation summary to Alexandros), Calendly (scheduling) and Vercel (hosting), each strictly for the purpose described, under data-processing agreements. Where a processor is established outside the EEA, transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.

6. Retention

Conversations and any email you leave: up to 6 months, or longer if we are actively working together. Transaction and invoicing records: as required by Greek tax law (currently at least 5 years). Data stored in your browser: under your control at all times.

7. Security

All traffic is encrypted (TLS/HTTPS). We follow a data-minimisation architecture: the site stores as little as possible, card data never touches our systems, and access to business records is limited to the company's sole manager.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data, restriction of or objection to processing, and data portability. Ask the assistant to pass your request on, and we will respond within the GDPR deadlines. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Αρχή Προστασίας Δεδομένων Προσωπικού Χαρακτήρα), Kifisias 1-3, 115 23 Athens: dpa.gr.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the current version with its effective date is always published at this address.
